ABOUT THE COURSE

Sign up for a interdisciplinary union training course 2024!
Welcome to semester of 2024 with ABF (The Workers' Educational Association) and LO. 

If you are a part of LO through your union membership you have the opportunity to take part in some great training courses. Offers that are actually free of charge and will provide knowledge useful to you as an employee and a citizen.  

Signing up is easy! All you have to do is talk to a union representative and your employer. If you want more information about other courses you can contact us at ABF or LO. 

The course provides an excellent understanding for how cooperation between employers, union and employee representatives (skyddsombud), and other stakeholders in work environment issues should take place. The course is for employee representatives as well as for managers and executives. It will give you a broad perspective on work environment and helpful advice on how to improve your workplace.

• Provides knowledge of laws and regulations concerning work environment and safety. 

• Gives an understanding of the importance of the work environment for the individual, company, and society. 

• Provides knowledge on how to influence one's own and others' work environment to prevent mental and physical ill-health and contribute to good working conditions.

Contact your union representative at the union offices or at the workplace. We need your notice at least three weeks before the course starts.
Specify the dates you want to participate.

WHAT IS THE COST?

All courses are free of charge. You will have to apply for a leave of absence without pay and will instead be paid with a scholarship or training grant.
Meals are included in the course.
